In the holistic view, the physical body and energy centres are inseparable from the individual's soul and when one of them falls ill, the others fall ill too. This means that often the events that happen to us are a voice of our soul that wishes to change something so that evolve us.
Crystal therapy is a method of natural medicine that is based, in a subject predisposed to accept the messages he receives from his body, on placing the appropriate stone next to the body area on which we are interested in acting, so that this, through its vibrational frequency, can restore new energy and rebalance it, thus bringing the organism back to proper functioning.
We usually refer to the following pattern of events:
1. dysfunctional behaviour wants to be corrected
2. the cosmos relays the message through increasingly powerful messages
3. the unheard message manifests on the body
4. the subject can choose to ignore the energetic cause of the disturbance or accept the message and change the dysfunctional attitude that needs to be corrected
5. the subject can then heal from the illness by not neglecting the holistic and energetic nature of it
The nine main stones of crystal therapy are associated with certain chakras and can be used to rebalance them, allowing us to correct dysfunctional behaviour:
First chakra
- Black onyx: a stone that gives strength to perform uncomfortable actions and encourages obstinacy even when difficult goals must be achieved. It transmits stability and a sense of rootedness to the Earth in the hardest moments. It is a quartz, chalcedony variety, is associated with the planet Venus and the zodiac sign of Capricorn, and acts on bones, teeth, skeletal system, lower limbs.
- Red jasper: helps get out of stagnant situations, giving us the strength and stubbornness to act. It also protects against energy 'vampires', who take energy away from those around them. It is also a quartz, matching the planet Mars and the zodiac sign of Aries. It acts on blood circulation. In Europe, it is mined in the Lagorata Valley (La Spezia).
Second chakra
- Carnelian: helps to take in emotions and process them in a profound way so that they can promote profound change. It is part of the quartz, is two-tone orange, and is associated with the planet Mercury and the sign Virgo. It acts on the intestines, liver and ovaries.
Third chakra
- Citrine quartz: yellow in colour, it has the function of making us see the good in everything that happens to us, interpreting events as teachings so that we can improve. It is associated with the planet Sun and the sign of Leo. It acts on the diaphragm, spleen, pancreas and stomach.
Fourth chakra
- Emerald: Connected to our inner garden, it has the ability to process all emotions that pass through the energetic heart and transform them into light energy ready for use, making us feel relieved of dissolved emotion. Part of the beryls, it is associated with the planet Venus and the sign Taurus. It acts on the heart, liver and lymphatic system.
- Rose quartz: has a supportive function in the emotionally difficult moments of life. It is associated with the planet Venus and the sign Libra. It acts on blood pressure and cardiac function.
Fifth chakra
- Sodalite: deep blue in colour, it serves to calm fury, giving us the key to use it in a fruitful and non-destructive way, prompting reflection. It can transform aggression into divine communication, aimed at our wise side. It is associated with the planet Jupiter and the sign Sagittarius. It acts on the throat.
Sixth chakra
- Amethyst: Purple in colour, it has the ability to spiritualise reality, i.e. to teach us that reality is not as it seems but behind everything that happens to us there is a precise explanation aimed at our evolution. It acts on the central and peripheral nervous system.
Seventh chakra
- Hyaline quartz (rock crystal): transparent white in colour, it represents the centre of connection with our spiritual aspect and the Cosmos. It can also be used as a laser to cleanse environments and subtle bodies and to enhance consciousness. It is associated with all planets and zodiac signs. It increases its vibratory frequencies and acts on the nervous system.

La cristalloterapia è un metodo di medicina naturale che si basa, in un soggetto predisposto ad accogliere i messaggi che riceve dal proprio corpo, sull'accostare la pietra adatta all'area corporea su cui ci interessa agire, in modo che questa, tramite la sua frequenza vibrazione, possa restituirle energia nuova e riequilibrarla, riportando così al corretto funzionamento dell'organismo.

Le nove pietre principali della cristalloterapia si associano a determinati chakra e possono essere utilizzate per riequilibrare gli stessi, permettendoci di correggere i comportamenti disfunzionali:
Primo chakra
- Onice nero: pietra che da la forza per compiere azioni scomode e spinge all'ostinatezza anche quando bisogna raggiungere obiettivi difficili. Trasmette stabilità e senso di radicamento alla Terra nei momenti più duri. Si tratta di un quarzo, varietà calcedonio, è associato al pianeta Venere e al segno zodiacale del Capricorno, ed agisce su ossa, denti, sistema scheletrico, arti inferiori.
- Diaspro rosso: aiuta ad uscire da situazioni stagnanti, dandoci la forza e la caparbietà per agire. Protegge inoltre dai "vampiri" energetici, che tolgono energia a chi gli sta attorno. Si tratta anch'esso di un quarzo, azzeccato al pianeta Marte e al segno zodiacale dell'Ariete. Agisce sulla circolazione sanguigna. In Europa si estrae in Valle Lagorata (La Spezia).
Secondo chakra
- Corniola: aiuta a recepire le emozioni e ad elaborarle in modo profondo in modo che possano favorire un cambiamento profondo. Fa parte dei quarzi, è bicolore arancione, si associa al pianeta Mercurio e al segno Vergine. Agisce su intestino, fegato ed ovaie.
Terzo chakra
- Quarzo citrino: di colore giallo, ha la funzione di farci vedere il buono in tutto ciò che ci accade, interpretando gli eventi come insegnamenti per poterci migliorare. Si associa al pianeta Sole e al segno del Leone. Agisce su diaframma, milza, pancreas e stomaco.
Quarto chakra
- Smeraldo: collegato al nostro giardino interiore, ha la capacità di elaborare tutte le emozioni che passano per il cuore energetico e di trasformarle in energia leggera pronta all'uso, facendoci sentire alleggeriti dall'emozione disciolta. Fa parte dei berilli, si associa al pianeta Venere e al segno Toro. Agisce su cuore, fegato e sistema linfatico.
- Quarzo rosa: ha funzione di sostegno nei momenti emotivamente difficili della vita. Si associa al pianeta Venere e al segno della Bilancia. Agisce su pressione arteriosa e funzionalità cardiaca.
Quinto chakra
- Sodalite: di colore blu intenso, serve a calmare la furia, dandoci la chiave per usarla in maniera proficua e non distruttiva, spingendo alla riflessione. Può trasformare l'aggressività in comunicazione divinizzata, volta alla nostra parte saggia. Si associa al pianeta Giove e al segno Sagittario. Agisce sulla gola.
Sesto chakra
- Ametista: di colore viola, ha la capacità di spiritualizzare la realtà, ovvero di insegnarci che la realtà non è come sembra ma dietro a tutto ciò che ci accade c'è una precisa spiegazione volta alla nostra evoluzione. Agisce sul sistema nervoso centrale e periferico.
Settimo chakra
- Quarzo ialino (cristallo di rocca): di colore bianco trasparente, rappresenta il centro della connessione con il nostro aspetto spirituale e con il Cosmo. Può essere usato anche come laser per pulire gli ambienti e i corpi sottili e per potenziare la coscienza. Si associa a tutti i pianeti e i segni zodiacali. Aumenta le proprie frequenze vibratorie e agisce sul sistema nervoso.
